Role Qualities/Attributes: For the most part, she will appear as her normal self. Occasionally, during times of emotion or exertion a shimmering light will surround her, the brightest situated like a halo or crown.
Role Reasoning: Captain Carter embodies what it means to be a selfless hero. Time and time again and at great personal sacrifice, Peggy has saved not just her universe, but the entire multiverse. Twice. She even took it upon herself to go against The Watcher, a fifth dimensional being that does exactly as his name indicates, to save a different universe slated to die. Even before receiving the super serum, she dedicated herself to the service of fighting injustices of all sizes and protecting others who cannot always protect themselves. This starts with fighting in the British Army as a young woman before eventually leading the Avengers, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

OPTION 2 QUESTIONS (PICK 4-5) 100-300 WORD LIMIT EACH:
Headcanon 1a: Not only does Peggy train and spar primarily with Natasha over the other Avengers, but she has a romantic interest in her. Headcanon 1b: Peggy Carter is pansexual. While it's indisputable that Carter is in love with Steve Rogers, even after she believes him to be killed in action, it's clear from her interactions with Widow during the fight against Infinity Ultron that they have a close bond. She uses the fact that she's one of three people that Nat trusts in her universe to gain the trust of a apocolypse-hardened Widow, a difficult feat. There's also definite flirting as well as long, emotional gazes between the two women, both in battle and during more casual interactions.
Upon close observation, it's evident that Peggy's combat style has evolved from not just the 40s, but even from the battle of NY (2012) and the fight against the Hydra Stomper (2014). It becomes more acrobatic, with gymnastics elements (with clean technique likely taught to her by a very agile, non-super solider Widow. Examples being triple back tucks, layout twisting form through metal bars, and one armed giants. The animation even highlights this in slow motion, direct comparison shots. The style shift indicates they train together, likely by sparring, as two badass boss women are want to do.
It benefits her story because her deepening relationship with Nat shows that she's more than just Steve Rogers' love interest. She's capable of moving forward and growing new, substantial relationships and even romantic feelings for people other than Steve. It also shows how open she is to adapting and improving herself through meeting and collaborating with others.
It depends. What are they being asked to forgive, who requires forgiveness, and has the offender done anything to show they're worthy of being forgiven? Both Natasha and Fury lie to her regarding Steve potentially being alive as a Red Room (Soviet spy organization) controlled Hydra Stomper that has since committed unspeakable acts that include assassinations. It's very evident that she expected them both to be honest with her given her very well known history with Steve, but even more with Nat due to her close relationship with the other woman. While this is ahead of her requested canon point, it speaks very well to this question. Both Fury and Widow provide explanations as to why they never told her, and while it's frustrating, Peggy does forgive and maintain trust with both of them. Nat specifically deviates from Fury's direct orders to support Carter in capturing the Hydra Stomper rather than terminating him, showing her that she's worth forgiving. As for forgiving Fury? Well that's not shown directly, but when Wanda, a witch trying to save the universe designated 1602, yoinks her into 1602 that universe's Fury is there to greet her, and she's shown to trust him throughout her time there, even when King Thor declares her public enemy number one.
It's clear that she believes in second chances with how hard she fights to rescue Red Room Steve Rogers despite the sins he's committed. She does this multiple times, trying to not only beat the brainwash out of him, but to reach him with reasoning and strong emotions. Eventually, she gets starts to get through to him, but there's a cliffhanger there thanks to 1602 Wanda.
Heinous acts against herself and others (see: WWII and Hydra) where no remorse is shown, however, aren't likely to be forgiven.
Ideally it would be to go back to her time and live out her happy ending fighting to finish the war (and likely against any further injustices) along side of Steve Rogers. She asks the Watcher for this at the end of the battle against Infinity Ultron, but upon learning her world needs Captain Carter, she returns to 2014. Knowing too much about how one small change could utterly disrupt a universe, which has the potential to destroy that universe or even the multiverse, Peggy would be hesitant to alter anything in the past. In the future, this belief will only strengthen after she must fight Strange Supreme to again save the multiverse. Changing the future by taking things into her hands in the present, however, is absolutely a-okay with her. She's Captain Carter. It's what she does.
There’s not much that Peggy wouldn’t sacrifice for the greater good, so long as it’s keeping within her moral code. This often translates to the super soldier immediately putting herself in harm’s way. It’s her choice and she’s aware of the risks, even if it means potentially dying, such as when she fights the Champion of Hydra, defeating it by pushing the creature back through a wormhole created by the Tesseract. It’s in that moment that she sacrifices her chance at happiness and a life with Steve Rogers. Additionally, she’s only killed in self-defense, primarily enemy soldiers during WWII as well as invading aliens hell bent on conquering the world by way of New York.
This is absolutely prime Folklore era for Peggy. She’s still working through and processing past experiences, namely losing Steve Rogers when she saved the world. Ruminating on what could have been if things had been different. What if she got to the Red Skull in time before he called the Champion? What if they somehow managed to defeat the creature without going through that wormhole? What if it had been Steve instead of her to receive the serum? Would things be different? Would she get her version of the life Bucky lived? Then there’s the part where she’s trying to find her place in a world where she’s out of time, put on a pedestal by fans and haters alike, and navigating new relationships with teammates like Widow. And that’s just the beginning of her journey out of time.
